Delta Unveils AI Era Solutions at Energy Taiwan

Delta introduced new microgrid solutions and a prefabricated DC power system for AI factories. The new offerings aim to reduce deployment times and enhance energy efficiency in data centers and manufacturing.

14 October 2026

Delta showcased new solutions for AI factories and high-density computing at Energy Taiwan 2026. The company launched a prefabricated solid-state transformer (SST)-based DC power system, integrating an SST, DC/DC converters, and control equipment. This system reduces power conversion stages and cuts on-site deployment time by up to 50%, accelerating the rollout of AI infrastructure.

The new system is designed to improve energy efficiency in AI data centers by up to 4–5% through more effective conversion of electricity from the grid to the chip level. The solution can also integrate high-charge-rate batteries that rapidly respond to AI load fluctuations, maintaining stable power delivery. Its modular and prefabricated design minimizes on-site wiring, installation, and commissioning work.

To enhance energy resilience, Delta also presented on-site power generation solutions using solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC). These systems provide stable, low-carbon electricity and can be integrated with the grid, energy storage, and other energy sources. SOFC systems can achieve an overall efficiency of up to 85% with heat recovery, crucial for continuously operating data centers and manufacturing facilities.

At the event, Delta also featured energy management solutions, including the EnergiQ digital platform, designed to help companies optimize their energy usage and comply with international energy efficiency standards. The company continues to collaborate with industry partners to build next-generation energy infrastructure that offers greater energy autonomy and efficiency.
