DelveInsight Releases Dengue Pipeline Assessment Report

DelveInsight has released its "Dengue Pipeline Insight 2026" report, providing a detailed analysis of the global landscape for dengue treatment development. The report assesses the progress of over 15 companies and more than 20 drug candidates in various stages of research and development.

The analysis covers drugs in both clinical and non-clinical stages, detailing their profiles and evaluating them based on product type, development stage, route of administration, and molecule type. The report also identifies pipeline products that have been discontinued or are inactive.

Dengue fever, a mosquito-borne viral illness, is a significant public health concern affecting over 140 countries and posing a risk to more than 2.5 billion people. Approximately 100 million symptomatic infections are reported annually, with a concentration in Asia and the Pacific region. Factors such as urbanization, population growth, and inadequate sanitation have contributed to its increasing prevalence.

The report aims to provide clarity on the current state of dengue treatment development. As no specific antiviral treatment for dengue is currently available, current management relies primarily on supportive care. The development of new therapeutic options is therefore critical for addressing the disease in the future.
