Denodo Platform 9.2 enhances data marketplace and generative AI capabilities

Denodo Technologies Inc. has launched Denodo Platform 9.2, an update to its logical data management solution that introduces a more intuitive data marketplace functionality and expanded support for generative AI (GenAI) initiatives.

A key feature of the update is a full-featured data marketplace designed to streamline data usage within organizations. The marketplace offers an e-commerce-style user experience, supported by a semantic layer and AI-powered automation to simplify data discovery and access. Users can now explore, discover, and access data more intuitively, with added visibility into how data is consumed by downstream applications and analytical tools. The user interface can also be customized to various languages, supporting global teams.

Denodo Platform 9.2 also includes enhancements aimed at accelerating the development of GenAI applications. It enables dynamic customization of AI models with user-specific knowledge and provides improved support for unstructured data. A new certification program for GenAI developers has also been introduced. These capabilities ensure that AI models are supplied with high-quality, governed, and real-time data.

The platform has also been updated to facilitate the development of data products. New additions, including support for continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) and automated dependency analysis, enhance collaboration among teams and reduce errors. Expanded support for open table formats improves compatibility with solutions like Databricks Unity Catalog and Snowflake.

Alberto Pan, chief technology officer at Denodo, stated that the company's continuous evolution in self-service, data product development, and GenAI enables enterprises to leverage data more effectively for decision-making and workflow automation.
