Denodo Platform 9.4 Enhances Production Readiness for Agentic AI

Denodo Technologies Inc. announced the release of Denodo Platform 9.4, a version designed to accelerate the path to production for agentic and generative AI systems. The update focuses on enhancing data integration, management, and access to address the challenges organizations face when deploying AI at scale.

The new platform version aims to improve how AI systems, applications, and users reliably access live data and understand business context, while operating under defined performance and governance parameters. Denodo highlights that many AI initiatives struggle with scalability and delivering significant business value without unified access to current, trusted data, shared semantics, and consistent governance.

For AI teams, Denodo Platform 9.4 expands capabilities by integrating support for vector databases. This allows for unified access to structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, including documents and text embeddings, through a single logical data access layer. The platform also directly embeds support for the Model Context Protocol (MCP), facilitating governed data access and providing visibility and control for governance teams.

Data teams benefit from the new "Lakehouse Accelerator," which offers up to four times faster query performance and improved efficiency and scalability for analytics and AI workloads, utilizing the open-source Velox execution engine. For business users, the platform introduces a conversational interface via the Denodo Data Marketplace, simplifying data exploration regardless of technical expertise.
