Denodo secures Databricks validated partner status for data integration
Denodo Technologies has achieved Databricks Validated Partner status, following a technical review of its platform's integration with the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
The validation confirms that the Denodo Platform meets Databricks’ standards for interoperability and security, specifically concerning its integration with the Unity Catalog. This partnership aims to assist organizations in managing data across hybrid and multicloud environments by enforcing consistent governance and simplifying data access for AI and analytics.
Denodo and Databricks currently serve over 150 joint customers. By utilizing Denodo as a logical data management layer alongside Databricks, companies aim to reduce the need for data movement and duplication. Denodo EVP Suresh Chandrasekaran stated that the collaboration is intended to support real-time data access for enterprise AI innovation.
Research conducted by Veqtor8 suggests that deploying the Denodo platform with data lakehouses can improve data delivery speed and reduce engineering overhead. The two companies intend to continue providing a framework for unified data governance across disparate enterprise systems.
