Desktop CNC maker CubiFab secures multi-million funding round
Shenzhen-based startup CubiFab has raised tens of millions of RMB to scale production and expand global sales channels for its desktop CNC workstation.

CubiFab, a hardware startup based in Shenzhen, announced on October 23 that it has raised tens of millions of RMB in a funding round backed by Nanshan Strategic Emerging Industries Investment and Longhua Capital. The company plans to deploy the capital to scale production of its flagship CubiFab C1 desktop CNC machine and reinforce its supply chain.
The CubiFab C1 is designed to allow users to machine metal components on a desktop, integrating processing guidance and on-device monitoring to streamline workflows that typically require multiple pieces of industrial equipment. The firm’s engineering team includes former employees from major technology firms such as Intel, Apple, and DJI, focusing on merging industrial control systems with consumer-grade hardware design.
Following the completion of this funding round, CubiFab intends to launch international sales efforts. The move highlights the company's objective to transition from the prototype phase to volume production, targeting a market segment looking for compact, user-friendly manufacturing tools.
