Desktop Manufacturing Startup InfiMaker Raises Tens of Millions in Funding

Chinese desktop manufacturing startup InfiMaker has completed a Pre-A+ funding round, raising tens of millions of dollars from investors IDG Capital and Kunlun Capital. The company focuses on developing and producing compact, five-axis computer numerical control (CNC) machines tailored for professional users and creators.

Founded in 2024 by former DJI employees and robotics researchers, InfiMaker integrates its hardware with proprietary computer-aided manufacturing software. Its flagship K1 machine coordinates five axes simultaneously to produce complex shapes. Applications include prototyping, jewelry making, dental work, and educational uses.

The K1 machine previously raised over RMB 30 million on Kickstarter, with deliveries slated to begin by the end of 2026. InfiMaker has established a factory in Shenzhen. The new funding and crowdfunding proceeds will be allocated to scaling production, enhancing software capabilities, and expanding distribution channels.
