Destination Uppsala facilitates technical visits through local partners

Destination Uppsala has launched a new service to facilitate organized technical visits to the city. The service is managed in cooperation with selected local travel agencies that handle all planning, booking, and execution of the visits.

These partner agencies offer comprehensive packages that can include accommodation, meals, and transfers. Contracts and payments are made directly between the client and the travel agency. Destination Uppsala clarifies that it does not issue official invitation letters for visiting delegations.

The initiative aims to provide a streamlined and professional experience for international and domestic groups interested in exploring Uppsala's offerings. Partner organizations include GO Adventure, Discover Uppsala, Link & Learn International, and Sweden History Tours, each specializing in different aspects of tour arrangements.

As Uppsala's official tourism body, Destination Uppsala works to enhance the city's appeal and attract visitors. This partnership model expands the city's offerings, particularly for professional and technical delegations.
