Destro AI, a technology startup, has announced the closure of an $8 million seed funding round. The company focuses on developing an AI intelligence layer aimed at improving the synergy between robots and human employees, particularly within logistics operations.
Unlike many robotics companies that concentrate on the hardware aspect, Destro AI's approach prioritizes software. Their platform is designed to integrate robots into existing workflows and provide clear operational guidance to human staff, ensuring seamless human-robot interaction.
"One of the biggest reasons we are winning against robotics companies is because we are not a robotics company," stated Manthan Pawar, founder of Destro AI. "We understand our customers’ problems extremely well and solve them with software."
Pawar, who has prior experience in the supply chain and robotics sectors, explained that the company's core mission is to simplify robot deployment without requiring substantial new hardware investments from clients. The funding round was led by SignalFire, with participation from [other investors].
