Deutsche Telekom and NVIDIA Launch Industrial AI Cloud in Germany

Deutsche Telekom and technology firm NVIDIA are launching a new cloud service focused on industrial artificial intelligence (AI) in Germany. The partnership aims to establish a significant AI infrastructure to support the digitalization and competitiveness of German and European industries.

The service, named Industrial AI Cloud, is positioned to become one of Europe's largest AI infrastructures. It is scheduled to be operational by the first quarter of 2026. The initiative is expected to accelerate the development and deployment of AI solutions across various industrial sectors, from design to robotics.

According to Deutsche Telekom, the platform will provide a secure and sovereign IT infrastructure for large enterprises, SMEs, and startups. SAP solutions will be integrated into the platform, ensuring high standards of data protection and security. The project also includes a broad partner ecosystem with several technology companies.

This investment is part of the larger "Made 4 Germany" initiative, intended to strengthen Germany as a business location and promote the digitalization of the economy and administration. The infrastructure development involves over a thousand NVIDIA DGX B200 systems and NVIDIA RTX PRO™ Servers, featuring up to 10,000 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs.
