Deutsche Telekom Confirms No Sale of T-Mobile US Shares in 2026
Deutsche Telekom announced plans to refrain from selling its T-Mobile US shares in 2026, expressing continued support for the subsidiary's growth strategy.

Deutsche Telekom has stated it has no plans to sell its stake in T-Mobile US during 2026. The company confirmed this decision applies even in connection with T-Mobile US's ongoing share buyback program.
The German telecommunications giant welcomed the strong fourth-quarter and full-year 2025 results reported by T-Mobile US, as well as the company's updated outlook. Deutsche Telekom currently holds a 52.8 percent stake in T-Mobile US and stated its firm support for the U.S. subsidiary's strategic direction.
According to CEO Tim Höttges, T-Mobile US is on track to achieve targets set at its 2024 Capital Markets Day. Höttges also indicated that Deutsche Telekom is continuously reviewing opportunities to potentially increase its stake, provided it makes strategic and financial sense.
The company's announcement signals a continued commitment to its significant investment in the U.S. market, underscoring T-Mobile US's performance and future growth prospects.
