Deutsche Telekom's latest corporate responsibility report indicates that its digital solutions are enabling customers to achieve over six times greater carbon dioxide emission savings compared to the company's operational footprint. By 2025, customers are projected to save approximately 23.5 million metric tons of CO2e through the use of these digital tools.
Robert Metzke, Head of Corporate Responsibility, stated that significant progress has been made in reducing emissions through enhanced energy efficiency in network and IT infrastructure. The company is leveraging technologies such as AI for smarter energy usage in data centers and mobile networks. Furthermore, Deutsche Telekom is focusing on a circular economy approach, aiming to reintegrate nearly all products and components back into the cycle by 2030.[CR Report]

Last year, approximately 41 million individuals directly benefited from these social engagement activities.
