Deutsche Telekom increases data volumes in prepaid mobile plans
Deutsche Telekom is increasing data allowances in its MagentaMobil Prepaid tariffs without price changes, effective April 29. Existing customers will also benefit from the increased data.

Deutsche Telekom, a major telecommunications provider, announced an increase in data allowances for its MagentaMobil Prepaid mobile plans starting April 29. The company stated that customers will receive more data for the same price. This change applies to both new and existing customers with their next billing cycle.
The data volumes will be boosted across several MagentaMobil Prepaid tariffs, including M, L, and XL, as well as the annual plan. Notably, the MagentaMobil Prepaid XL plan will see its data allowance double. The company is also maintaining its feature that allows unused data to be carried over to the next billing period.
Following the adjustment, the MagentaMobil Prepaid M plan will offer 13 GB of data for €9.95, the L plan will provide 25 GB for €14.95, and the XL plan will feature 50 GB for €19.95. These prices are based on a 28-day billing cycle. The annual plan will provide 156 GB for €99.95.
Telekom confirmed that its prepaid plans continue to include unlimited calls and SMS within Germany for the M, L, XL, and annual plans. The S plan includes unlimited calls and SMS within the Telekom network and 50 minutes to other German networks. Access to the 5G network is included in all affected tariffs.
The company also highlighted that its prepaid customers can use their plans in Switzerland without additional roaming charges, treating it similarly to an EU country. The updated plans will be available for purchase from April 29 through Telekom shops, its website, and other retail channels.
