Deutsche Telekom is offering a new artificial intelligence (AI) solution for business customers to automate customer interactions. Developed with technology partner Cognigy, the "Conversational AI Suite" utilizes smart voice and chatbots to manage customer requests.

The solution has been verified according to the criteria catalog for trustworthy AI (AIC4) set by Germany's Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). This certification confirms that the AI software, developed and operated in Germany, adheres to standards for bias-free operation, transparency, security, reliability, and data quality.

The company emphasizes its commitment to responsible and ethical AI deployment, positioning itself as a pioneer in the field since issuing its AI guidelines in 2018. The "Conversational AI Suite" expands Deutsche Telekom's AI offerings for businesses, enabling 24/7 customer service with consistent quality while reducing workloads for human agents.

An independent audit by PwC Germany confirmed compliance with the BSI's AIC4 criteria. The solution is operated within the Open Telekom Cloud, ensuring data residency in Germany and adherence to GDPR regulations.
