Deutsche Telekom raises 2026 outlook after Q1 results

Deutsche Telekom has raised its financial guidance for the full year 2026, following a solid performance in the first quarter. The company reported an organic net revenue increase of 4.7 percent to 29.9 billion euros, with adjusted EBITDA AL growing organically by 7.5 percent to 11.5 billion euros.

The upward revision of the group's outlook is influenced by raised expectations from its U.S. subsidiary, T-Mobile US. Deutsche Telekom now anticipates adjusted EBITDA AL for 2026 to be around 47.5 billion euros and free cash flow AL to exceed 19.8 billion euros, marking an increase from previous forecasts.

Reported growth figures in euros were lower than organic rates due to currency effects, with net revenue up 0.4 percent and adjusted EBITDA AL up 2.0 percent year-on-year. However, adjusted net profit saw a 6.5 percent increase, reaching 2.6 billion euros.

Domestically, Germany continues to see rising fiber optic network usage, with over 13 million homes now connected. T-Mobile US reported an increase in customer accounts, and the company's operations in Europe and its Systems Solutions segment also experienced growth.
