Deutsche Telekom raises free cash flow guidance after strong Q2 results
Deutsche Telekom reported strong second-quarter financial results and raised its full-year free cash flow forecast for 2026. The company saw revenue growth and improved profitability.

Deutsche Telekom has announced strong financial results for the second quarter of 2026, prompting the company to raise its full-year guidance for free cash flow. The telecommunications giant now anticipates approximately 20 billion euros in free cash flow for 2026, an increase from the previous forecast of over 19.8 billion euros.
In the second quarter, net revenue grew organically by 3.3 percent to 29.9 billion euros. Adjusted EBITDA AL increased organically by 7.3 percent to 11.8 billion euros. Free cash flow AL reached 5.0 billion euros, up 3.1 percent year-on-year. The adjusted net profit rose by 11.1 percent to 2.8 billion euros.
CEO Tim Höttges highlighted the company's consistent strong performance across all segments. The U.S. market, through T-Mobile US, continued its growth trajectory and contributed significantly. The updated free cash flow forecast incorporates adjustments made by T-Mobile US.
Domestically in Germany, the broadcasting of the FIFA World Cup on MagentaTV attracted around one million new TV customers, boosting the Germany segment. Fiber optic connections continued to see increased adoption, alongside growth in mobile contract customers. The European operations and the T-Systems division also reported positive financial developments.
