Deutsche Telekom ranks first for best CR website by NetFed
Deutsche Telekom has secured the top position in NetFederation's 2025 Corporate Responsibility (CR) website benchmark. The company was recognized for its interactivity and transparency in sustainability communication.

Deutsche Telekom has achieved the leading position in NetFederation GmbH's annual Corporate Responsibility (CR) website benchmark, an annual study assessing companies' digital sustainability presence in Germany. The company stood out for its clear communication, transparency, and the successful integration of sustainability into its digital user guidance.
The ranking, which included 50 companies, saw Deutsche Telekom score 783 points, placing it ahead of Robert Bosch GmbH (712 points) and last year's winner, REWE Group (703 points). The study noted that many companies are adopting more cautious reporting practices due to regulations like the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). In contrast, Telekom demonstrated clear positioning and linked its strategy with tangible measures.
NetFed's evaluation highlighted Deutsche Telekom's interactive tools, such as the ESG KPI Tool, and its presentation of sustainable supply chains and climate impact within its CR report. These elements were cited as benchmarks for outstanding reporting, especially as many companies are increasingly practicing "greenhushing" rather than proactive sustainability communication.
"Especially in critical times, it is important to describe the added value of sustainable business. Today, more than ever, economy, ecology and social issues belong together. We remain authentic and credible by communicating in a fact-based and transparent manner and by showing where we come from, where we stand and where we want to go," explained Julija Dietrich, Cluster Lead CR-Communication & Reporting at Deutsche Telekom. She specifically mentioned the company's goal to achieve climate neutrality in its own operations by the end of the year.
The results of the NetFed benchmark underscore the importance of clear and accessible sustainability communication. Deutsche Telekom's success demonstrates how complex environmental and social issues can be effectively communicated to a broad audience while also providing deeper insights for experts.
