Deutsche Telekom Secures CDP A List Ranking for Climate Protection
Deutsche Telekom has been recognized for its climate protection efforts, earning a spot on the CDP's A List for the ninth consecutive year. Only two percent of globally evaluated companies achieved the top grade.

Deutsche Telekom has once again achieved recognition for its commitment to climate protection, securing a position on the renowned CDP's A List for the ninth consecutive year. This distinction places the company among the top two percent of over 22,000 businesses worldwide evaluated by the non-profit organization.
The CDP assesses companies annually on their climate protection activities, evaluating emission measurement and reduction, climate goal setting, and the management of climate change risks and opportunities. This rating is considered a significant benchmark for the capital market and is important in tenders issued by business customers and the public sector.
Deutsche Telekom reported above-average scores across all 16 categories, with top marks in 12. The company emphasizes the strategic synergy between digitalization and climate protection, aiming for climate neutrality in its own operations (Scope 1 and 2) by the end of 2025. Since 2017, Deutsche Telekom has reduced its emissions by over 90 percent through measures including purchasing renewable energy and improving energy efficiency.
Company data shows that digitalization and climate protection are seen as natural allies, with investments in stable, modern, and energy-efficient networks contributing to both customer service and cost control. Furthermore, the company aims to assist its business clients in enhancing the efficiency of their production and logistics through AI and fast transmission technologies, thereby saving energy and resources.
