The newsletter, dispatched every Sunday, will feature three personal audio recommendations for the week, spanning topics from politics and documentaries to music. It also provides a condensed preview of upcoming programs from Deutschlandfunk and Deutschlandfunk Kultur, alongside details on lectures, discussions, and concerts.
"Das Magazin" aims to offer a look behind the scenes at Deutschlandradio, introducing staff members from various departments. Subscribers will also receive updates on the company's news and developments. The content is structured to provide both a quick overview and opportunities for deeper engagement with the material.
The editorial team behind the newsletter is the same that previously produced Deutschlandradio's print monthly magazine. Many of the recommended audio content and tips are also available through the Deutschlandfunk app and on the broadcaster's website, often in podcast format.
