The show "die Insulaner," created by Günter Neumann and first aired on December 25, 1948, by RIAS, parodied the lives and characteristics of West Berlin residents. Historian Dr. Matthias von Hellfeld and host Steffi Orbach will discuss the significance and historical context of the show with guests.
Guests include political satirist Tilman Lucke, author Regina Stürickow, and cabaret writer Jürgen Klammer. The event starts at 7:00 PM and admission is free. Registration is required.
