Automaker DFSK marked its 20th anniversary in Peru by officially launching the E5 PLUS, a seven-seat plug-in hybrid SUV, in Lima.

Automaker DFSK celebrated its 20th anniversary in Peru with the official launch of the E5 PLUS, a seven-seat plug-in hybrid SUV, in Lima. The event gathered company representatives, local dealers, media, and business partners to commemorate two decades of the brand's presence in the country and introduce its next phase. The launch also introduced DFSK's refreshed global brand direction, "DRIVES FOR BETTER."
DFSK first entered the Peruvian market in 2006, initially with commercial vehicles. Over the past two decades, the brand has expanded into passenger cars and, more recently, new energy vehicles, while establishing a local sales and after-sales service network. Currently, DFSK operates 27 authorized dealerships across Peru. As part of the SERES Group, DFSK continues to broaden its new energy vehicle offerings.
The new E5 PLUS model combines plug-in hybrid technology with a spacious seven-seat interior and an extended driving range, offering Peruvian families greater flexibility for daily commuting and longer journeys. Equipped with the SERES Super Hybrid system, the SUV boasts an all-electric range of up to 142 km (NEDC) and a combined range of up to 1,200 km. The vehicle was presented through interactive zones highlighting features such as its external power supply capability and versatile cargo space.
The introduction of the E5 PLUS represents another step in DFSK's development in Peru, bringing a plug-in hybrid SUV to customers seeking a combination of space, range, and practicality. Under its "DRIVES FOR BETTER" brand direction, DFSK aims to continue providing reliable products and quality services while developing new energy mobility solutions for the Peruvian market. The 20th anniversary marks both a celebration of its history and the beginning of a new chapter.
