DH-Robotics Debuts Dexterous Robotic Hand at IROS 2026

DH-Robotics has introduced its new ADH-5-13 robotic hand, featuring 13 independently controllable degrees of freedom (DOF), at the IROS 2026 trade show in Pittsburgh. This five-fingered hand is designed for advanced manipulation tasks.

The ADH-5-13 has an anthropomorphic design, with its thumb, index, and middle fingers each possessing three DOF, and the ring and little fingers having two each. The hand is capable of grasping objects up to 20 kg and offers a positioning repeatability of ±0.2 mm.

Integrated tactile sensing at the fingertips is included, with support for additional sensors such as electronic skin or force/torque sensors. DH-Robotics highlighted a service-friendly design where individual modules can be replaced without dismantling the entire hand, aiming to reduce maintenance costs and downtime.

The company also demonstrated its existing UDH-3-7 three-fingered model at the event. DH-Robotics offers a range of robotic end effectors, categorized from two-fingered grippers for general-purpose use to more advanced five-fingered hands for complex manipulation.
