The consulting firm dhpg has advised the shareholders of MEPA – Pauli und Menden GmbH throughout the process of selling their shares to REHAU Group. dhpg provided comprehensive transaction support, covering legal, tax, commercial, and procedural aspects, as well as negotiation of the purchase price and contract drafting.
The acquisition was completed in November 2022, with the purchase price remaining undisclosed. MEPA – Pauli und Menden GmbH is a family-owned mid-sized company founded in 1963, specializing in system solutions for the sanitary industry, including shower and bathtub installations, pre-wall systems, and electrical engineering for sanitary applications.
REHAU Group, the acquiring entity, focuses on polymer-based solutions for the construction, automotive, and industrial sectors. The group operates globally with over 20,000 employees and generates an annual turnover exceeding 4 billion euros.
