Digia Concludes Restructuring Negotiations, 36 Employees to Be Reduced

Digia Plc has finalized change negotiations concerning its Managed Solutions business unit, which commenced on May 5, 2025. The outcome of these discussions, concluded on May 30, involves the reduction of 36 employees in various expert roles across the company's Finnish locations.

The negotiations initially involved approximately 600 employees and were driven by the reorganization of operations, as well as financial and production-related reasons. The estimated need for reduction was initially set at a maximum of 45 employees. During the process, decisions were also made regarding subcontracting arrangements, which helped to limit the number of layoffs.

Digia stated that the implemented measures and operational renewal are intended to create better conditions for meeting customer expectations and building sustainable profitable growth. The company anticipates that these personnel reductions will generate annual savings of approximately 2.4 million euros. Digia is offering transition security to affected employees to aid in re-employment.
