Digia Oyj Reports Strong Growth in Q3 2015
Digia Oyj announced its third-quarter 2015 results, showing a 13.0% increase in net sales to EUR 24.6 million and improved profitability. The company's net sales for the January-September period grew by 10.2%.
Digia Oyj reported a strong third quarter in 2015, with net sales increasing by 13.0% to EUR 24.6 million, compared to EUR 21.7 million in the same period last year. For the January-September period, consolidated net sales grew by 10.2% to EUR 77.3 million.
The Qt segment exhibited particularly robust growth, with net sales rising 34.3% in January-September. This growth was significantly boosted by the strengthening of the US dollar against the euro; excluding currency fluctuations, Qt's net sales increased by 24.4%.
The domestic segment also saw favorable net sales development, growing 3.8% in January-September and 6.5% in the third quarter. Operating profit improved significantly for the group, notably in the Qt segment which turned profitable. Profitability in the domestic segment reached 10.4% in the third quarter.
Digia anticipates continued moderate demand in the domestic segment and expects a clear improvement in both net sales and operating profit for the full year 2015 compared to the previous year.
