Digia receives ISO/IEC 42001 certification for AI management system
Finnish software company Digia has achieved ISO/IEC 42001 certification, verifying its governance models for artificial intelligence risk management and development.
Digia has been awarded the ISO/IEC 42001 certification for its artificial intelligence management system. The audit, conducted by Kiwa, confirms that the company maintains structured governance models for managing AI-related risks and ensuring responsible usage.
Currently, the certification covers the integration and API business within Digia’s Managed Solutions unit. The company has stated that it intends to expand this scope to other business areas in future operations.
"An audited operating model strengthens our position as a partner for customers utilizing artificial intelligence," said Janne Tuominen, Senior Vice President of Managed Solutions at Digia. The new certification complements Digia’s existing management system, which includes ISO 9001 quality, ISO 27001 information security, and ISO 13485 medical device standards.
