Yan will be responsible for leading strategy, business planning, and growth initiatives within the Indonesian market. He brings over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and digital infrastructure sectors. Previously, Yan served as president director at PT Centratama Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk, where his responsibilities included overseeing strategy, business management, integration, and transformation.
Digital Realty Bersama is a collaboration between Digital Realty and Bersama Digital Infrastructure Asia. Bersama Digital Infrastructure Asia's backing includes Provident Capital Partners, PT Saratoga Investama Sedaya Tbk, and a consortium led by Macquarie Asset Management.
The appointment coincides with a period of expansion for Indonesia's data center market. Demand is increasingly fueled by the growth of digital services and the rising needs of artificial intelligence applications.
