Digital Signatures Accelerate Application Processes
ITEBO GmbH's solutions, including signature tablets, are reducing manual work and speeding up public authority services for citizens.

ITEBO GmbH and its subsidiary ITEBS GmbH are implementing digital signature solutions to streamline application processes within public administration. This technology eliminates the need to print, manually sign, and re-scan forms, thereby reducing both staff workload and paper consumption.
Numerous municipalities and authorities are now utilizing signature tablets, also referred to as citizen monitors, offered by ITEBO. These devices, used in conjunction with ITEBO's MESO or OK.EWO applications, have significantly decreased the manual effort required at citizen service centers.
Jens Schürmann, an employee at the citizen's office of the Samtgemeinde Werlte, reported positive experiences. "We have been using the signature tablets for a few weeks now and can only report positively," Schürmann stated. He highlighted the substantial time savings and reduced paper usage resulting from the elimination of printing and scanning.
The digital signature process also allows citizens and case workers to review information on screen simultaneously. Dagmar Pollehn from the citizen's office in the municipality of Lehre emphasized the importance of digital archiving, noting that it automatically monitors compliance with required storage periods.
ITEBO states that the installation of signature tablets is straightforward, with devices ready for immediate use after license activation. These solutions aim to enhance efficiency in public sector processes and improve the responsiveness of citizen services.
