Dilmah Receives Double Recognition at SIAL Paris 2026
Dilmah has been selected with three innovations for the SIAL Innovation Paris 2026 showcase. Additionally, the company is a finalist among five large enterprises in the SIAL For Change competition, which recognizes sustainability and social responsibility.
Sri Lankan tea producer Dilmah has secured a dual recognition at the upcoming SIAL Paris 2026 trade fair. Three of the company's product innovations have been chosen to be featured in the SIAL Innovation Paris 2026 exhibition, highlighting advancements in the food industry.
Furthermore, Dilmah has been named as one of the five global finalists in the new 'SIAL For Change' category for large enterprises. This competition specifically awards companies demonstrating strong commitment to sustainability and social responsibility within the agri-food sector.
The innovations selected for SIAL Innovation include Dilmah's Sparkling Iced Tea Collection and the Elevrie Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Tea Collection, both falling under the consumer goods category. The Windsor Forest Luxury Tea and Herb Collection has also been recognized in the Equipment and Technology category, notably for its home-compostable cotton tea bag.
"This recognition from SIAL, one of the world's most respected platforms for food and sustainability, reflects a philosophy my father established over four decades ago: that true innovation and authentic sustainability are one and the same," stated Dilhan C. "Being among the only five large companies globally, out of 226 nominations, alongside the selection of three of our products for their innovative character, is an acknowledgment of that work across all facets of our business."
The company's finalist status in SIAL For Change underscores its dedication to social and environmental causes through the MJF Charitable Foundation and Dilmah Conservation. These initiatives direct 15 percent of the company's pre-tax profits towards community well-being and environmental protection. Winners will be announced during official award ceremonies at SIAL Paris on October 17 and 18, 2026.
