Dilmah Recognized for Innovations and Sustainability at SIAL Paris 2026

Sri Lankan tea producer Dilmah announced a dual recognition ahead of SIAL Paris 2026, scheduled for October 17-21, 2026. The company's three innovations have been selected for SIAL Innovation Paris 2026, showcasing new product developments.

Furthermore, Dilmah has been confirmed as one of five global finalists in the new "SIAL For Change" competition. This award specifically recognizes sustainability and social responsibility within the agri-food sector. Dilmah is competing in the large enterprise category, having been selected from 226 initial submissions.

The innovations highlighted include the Dilmah Sparkling Iced Tea collection, the Elevrie Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Tea collection, and the Windsor Forest Luxury Tea & Infusions range, which features a home-compostable cotton tea bag. These selections were made by an independent jury based on originality, technical innovation, and sustainable development impact.

Dilmah's finalist status in SIAL For Change acknowledges its commitment to corporate social responsibility, primarily through the MJF Charitable Foundation and Dilmah Conservation. These entities channel 15% of the company's pre-tax profits towards community welfare and environmental protection. The winners for both the SIAL Innovation and SIAL For Change awards will be announced during official ceremonies at the event.
