Dimora Medical has launched an advanced silicone foam dressing designed to improve home wound care for elderly individuals. The new product, powered by the MegaSorb™ Dual-Action Absorption System, targets seniors with moderate to heavy exuding wounds, such as pressure ulcers and chronic wounds.

The company's innovation addresses challenges in home-based wound management. Elderly patients often experience fragile skin and reduced mobility, increasing susceptibility to wounds. Traditional dressings can struggle with high exudate levels, potentially causing skin maceration and painful changes. Dimora Medical's new dressing offers rapid absorption and retention of exudate within one second, reducing the risk of skin irritation and infection.

The MegaSorb™ technology allows the dressing to absorb up to 15 times its own weight in wound fluid. Additionally, its gentle silicone adhesive enables painless removal, crucial for sensitive skin.
