On November 12, Maryland-based Direct Dimensions will host an interactive 3D scanning demonstration at LOFT39 in Midtown Manhattan. The event is targeted at engineers, manufacturers, and researchers seeking to integrate or upgrade their digital measurement capabilities.

In collaboration with Artec 3D and Geomagic, the company will showcase seven distinct scanning devices, ranging from high-precision desktop units to long-range LiDAR systems. The session will focus on practical application, allowing attendees to test the hardware with their own parts and discuss technical workflows such as reverse engineering and inspection with on-site experts.

CEO Michael Raphael noted that the event is designed to help professionals evaluate specific technology before making purchasing decisions. Direct Dimensions has operated in the 3D measurement sector for over 30 years, serving industries including aerospace, automotive, and healthcare as an authorized reseller.

The demonstration runs from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Attendance is free, though the company recommends pre-registration via the event portal.
