Direct Travel Publishes First Impact Report

Direct Travel, a global travel management company, has published its inaugural Direct Impact Report, consolidating its sustainability and social impact initiatives following the acquisition of ATPI. The report details key metrics from the 2025 calendar year, providing a foundational benchmark for future progress as the company expands its services in corporate, specialty, leisure travel, and meetings & events.

The report establishes a baseline for Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions across the combined operations. Direct Travel also made its first climate disclosure to CDP, receiving a B rating. Business travel is identified as the largest contributor to the company's greenhouse gas footprint (Scope 3, Category 6). In response, Direct Travel supported six carbon offset projects in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

Beyond its own emissions, Direct Travel assists clients in measuring and reducing their travel-related emissions. The company provided access to Thrust Carbon's emissions measurement platform and expanded partnerships to enhance the availability of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) for corporate travel.

The report also highlights the company's commitment to its workforce, with over 30,684 hours of professional development training completed globally. According to the report, women hold 50% of leadership roles, and approximately one in six employees engaged in volunteer activities, contributing over 4,525 hours worldwide.
