Disney Brings TikTok Creator Content to Disney Plus
Disney is partnering with TikTok to integrate fan-created short-form video content into its Disney Plus streaming service. The new curated collection will feature assets from Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar characters.

The Walt Disney Company announced it is expanding its short-form video strategy by integrating fan-created content from TikTok creators into its Disney Plus streaming service. This new partnership aims to attract users who consume short-form video by offering a curated collection of fan-made material.
Select TikTok creators will be granted access to film and TV assets from hundreds of titles available on Disney Plus, including characters from the popular Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar franchises. The pilot program is slated to launch in the U.S. in the coming months, with plans for future expansion into other markets.
The content will be featured within Verts, a video feed launched earlier this year on Disney Plus specifically for short-form content consumption. The initiative seeks to leverage TikTok's popularity as a short-form video platform and provide users with a new type of fan-generated content based on Disney's well-known franchises.
Disney has recently sought to strengthen its position in digital media and attract new demographics to its streaming services. The collaboration with TikTok is part of a broader effort to merge traditional studio production with digital-era content creation methods.
