Disney exploring free tier for streaming service

Disney is currently exploring the possibility of introducing a free streaming tier for its Disney Plus service. Company executive Josh D'Amaro confirmed this during an earnings call on Wednesday.

D'Amaro stated that a free tier would help drive growth and reach a more price-sensitive customer segment. While he noted there were "nothing specific to announce today," he added that a free tier is "definitely something that we're considering."
