District Metals Corp. reports shale drilling results at Viken project
District Metals Corp. has completed four drill holes at its Viken property in Jämtland, Sweden, confirming substantial cumulative Alum shale intervals.

District Metals Corp. (TSX-V: DMX) released drilling results from its Viken property in central Sweden, identifying cumulative Alum shale thicknesses of up to 198 meters in hole VIK-26-005. The data, gathered from a four-hole campaign at Target A, marks the company's recent efforts to evaluate the geological composition of the region.
The Viken property has historically been the subject of mineral exploration due to the presence of polymetallic Alum shales. By confirming these depths, the company aims to establish a clearer understanding of the mineralized zones within the Jämtland County project area.
Following these findings, District Metals plans to integrate the drill core data into its technical models. The company continues to assess the commercial viability of the site as it proceeds with its exploration program.
