DJI's DJI Mic 3 wireless microphone system, featuring two transmitters, has experienced its first price reduction. The kit is now retailing for $219, down from its usual $259 price point. This discount is available through several prominent retailers, including Best Buy, B&H Photo, and Amazon.
The DJI Mic 3 kit includes two transmitter microphones, a receiver unit, a charging case, necessary cables, and four windscreens. The system is designed to significantly enhance the audio quality of videos, particularly in scenarios where built-in smartphone microphones fall short.
The receiver unit has seen significant improvements over previous iterations. Its internal storage capacity has been increased to 32GB, up from 8GB, and it supports both 24-bit and 32-bit floating-point recording. The device also features a built-in screen for monitoring battery levels and connection status.
These microphones are equipped with advanced features for challenging recording conditions, including dual levels of noise reduction and active gain control to manage sudden loud noises. Each microphone can operate for up to eight hours on a single charge, with the charging case providing at least two full recharges for the set.
