DNB Bank ASA: Share Buy-Back Programme Status After Week 37, 2026

DNB Bank ASA is continuing its share buy-back program, which was initiated in July 2026. The program allows for the repurchase of up to 1.0 percent of the company's shares, totaling 14,406,648 shares. The latest status update on the program was released following week 37 of 2026.
Under the program, DNB has planned to purchase up to 9,508,388 shares on trading venues by October 16, 2026. A proposal to cancel these repurchased shares will be submitted to the company's next Annual General Meeting.
Additionally, at the same general meeting, a proposal will be made to redeem the remaining shares, up to 4,898,260 shares, from the Norwegian Government, represented by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries (NFD). The redemption of these shares is also scheduled to occur within 2026.
The share buy-back initiative is part of DNB's strategy to optimize its capital structure and enhance shareholder value. The company first announced the commencement of this program in July 2026.
