DNB reorganizes Products, Data & Innovation units
DNB Bank will dissolve its Products, Data & Innovation (PDI) unit and distribute its responsibilities among other business areas starting September 1, 2026. The move aims to reduce complexity and accelerate product development.

DNB Bank has decided to integrate the responsibilities and competencies of its Products, Data & Innovation (PDI) unit into other parts of the group, effective September 1, 2026. The PDI unit will be dissolved as a separate entity.
The tasks currently handled by PDI will be divided between the Personal Banking, Corporate Banking Norway, and Technology & Services business areas. DNB stated the purpose of this reorganization is to reduce complexity, increase implementation capacity, and bring product development closer to customers.
This organizational change comes as the financial industry faces increasing demands for digital transformation and faster service delivery. By consolidating these functions, DNB aims to streamline operations and enhance its ability to respond to market changes and customer needs more effectively.
The bank has not provided further details on the specific implications of this restructuring, but emphasized its commitment to improving efficiency and customer focus.
