DNV Healthcare Renews ISQua Accreditation for Hospital Standards
DNV Healthcare has successfully renewed its ISQua accreditation for its International Accreditation Standards for Hospitals (DIAS). The accreditation is valid through June 2030.

DNV Healthcare announced that its International Accreditation Standards for Hospitals (DIAS), Revision 26-0, has been re-accredited by the ISQua External Evaluation Association (ISQua EEA). The endorsement was granted on June 23, 2026, with the accreditation valid until June 2030.
This renewed accreditation confirms that DNV's DIAS standards have undergone independent assessment against internationally recognized requirements for the development, governance, and evaluation methodology of healthcare accreditation standards. DNV provides global healthcare accreditation and assurance services, aiming to improve quality, patient safety, and organizational performance.
The DIAS standards distinguish themselves by integrating healthcare accreditation requirements with the ISO 9001 quality management framework. This ISO 9001-based, risk-aware approach supports healthcare organizations in proactively identifying vulnerabilities, managing operational consistency, enhancing governance, and fostering continuous improvement.
"Healthcare organizations operate in an increasingly complex environment and require accreditation frameworks that are credible, transparent, and internationally recognized," said Alex Imperial, Global Managing Director, DNV Healthcare. "The renewal of ISQua accreditation demonstrates that our DIAS standards continue to meet established international requirements."
