DOF Group ASA Extends Contracts with Petrobras in Brazil

DOF Group ASA has announced that it has secured long-term contract extensions with Petrobras for its PLSVs Skandi Buzios and Skandi Recife in Brazil. These extensions guarantee continued operations for the vessels.
The contract amendments will see Skandi Buzios extended by 516 days and Skandi Recife by 550 days. The original contracts were scheduled to terminate in the third quarter, but the new extensions secure their deployment for a further period.
Both Skandi Buzios and Skandi Recife are owned by a joint venture between DOF Group ASA and TechnipFMC, with each partner holding a 50% stake. This partnership leverages the combined expertise and assets of both companies.
The contract extensions reinforce DOF Group's significant presence in the Brazilian market, a key region for offshore oil and gas activities. Petrobras is a major operator in the region, and the continued business demonstrates confidence in DOF Group's operational capabilities.
