The anchor handling tug supply vessel Skandi Vega, operated by DOF Group ASA, has secured a two-year contract extension with client Equinor Energy AS. This extension, triggered by an exercise of options, pushes the vessel's firm contract duration to the third quarter of 2029.
The Skandi Vega has been serving Equinor since its construction in 2010. The extended agreement signifies continued collaboration between the two companies in offshore energy operations. Financial terms of the extension were not disclosed.
