DoGo Power Showcases Smart Grid-Forming ESS at EcoEnergy Expo
DoGo Power presented energy storage systems designed for smart grids at the EcoEnergy Expo, aiming to strengthen its presence in Ukraine's commercial and industrial markets.

Kyiv, Ukraine โ At the EcoEnergy Expo 2026, DoGo Power showcased its energy storage systems (ESS) engineered to form smart grids. The company aims to solidify its position in Ukraine's commercial and industrial markets by offering tailored solutions designed to ensure affordable, reliable, and stable green energy.
Ukraine is accelerating its energy transition and the adoption of renewable energy sources, with an official target of achieving 1.5โ2 GW of installed energy storage capacity by 2030. The agricultural sector, a major global exporter of agricultural products, is increasingly reliant on stable electricity supplies and distributed energy resources, driving demand for integrating ESS into agricultural production and research.
DoGo Power's smart grid-forming ESS integrates four key systems โ EMS, PMS, PCS, and BMS โ through a three-layer architecture. It achieves millisecond response times and enables seamless transitions between grid-connected and off-grid modes. The system operates stably even in weak grid environments with a Short-Circuit Ratio (SCR) of 1 or higher, utilizing AI algorithms to optimize energy dispatch and operational parameters, thereby reducing lifetime operational costs.
The company also presented a 1.672 MWh containerized solution designed to reduce initial investment costs and footprint, while lowering labor costs and project implementation time. This unit functions as a standalone microgrid, supports multiple energy inputs, and allows for smooth transitions between grid-connected and off-grid operation within 20 ms. Its granular capacity options and third-party inverter compatibility enable customers to correctly size systems and repurpose existing assets.
Concurrent with the expo, DoGo Power hosted a workshop discussing the applications and business models of grid-forming energy storage for grid stability and integrated agricultural systems. The company also entered into cooperation agreements with three key partners: the Institute of Horticulture at the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine (IH NAAS), and local industrial partners NotaTrade and MIF. These collaborations involve deploying over 200 grid-forming ESS units across IH NAAS research bases and test farms, while NotaTrade and MIF will provide comprehensive lifetime service and warranties for distributors and end-users.
