DoGo Power unveils smart grid-forming energy storage for Ukrainian market

DoGo Power has introduced its new intelligent grid-forming energy storage system (ESS) at the EcoEnergy Expo 2026 in Kyiv, a trade fair focused on renewable energy development in Eastern Europe.

Ukraine is accelerating its energy transition, with official targets for 1.5-2 GW of installed energy storage capacity by 2030. DoGo Power's system is presented as a solution for local commercial and industrial (C&I) market needs, particularly relevant for Ukraine's agricultural supply chain which increasingly relies on stable electricity and distributed energy resources.

The ESS features an integrated platform combining energy management (EMS), power management (PMS), power conversion (PCS), and battery management (BMS). It is designed for rapid, sub-20-millisecond switching between grid-connected and off-grid modes, and stable operation even in weak grid conditions with a short-circuit ratio (SCR) of 1 or higher. The system utilizes AI-driven Eco tools to optimize energy distribution and reduce lifetime operational costs.

DoGo Power also organized a workshop on grid-forming storage applications and business models, and announced cooperation agreements with three key partners, including the Institute of Horticulture of the National Agrarian Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, to deploy over 200 ESS units at research facilities.
