SANTA CRUZ, Calif. – Dominican Hospital welcomed 17 new internal medicine residents at a White Coat Ceremony held in late July. This program is part of the hospital’s commitment to advancing medical education and addressing the growing demand for internal medicine specialists.
The hospital is collaborating with the Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) for this training initiative. The partnership aims to cultivate diverse and competent physicians prepared to tackle complex health challenges.
The ceremony signifies the beginning of their medical studies and their dedication to patient care. The new residents will embark on an intensive three-year training program covering a wide spectrum of internal medicine disciplines. The program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
