Dominion Dynamics and TENCORE Partner to Manufacture Uncrewed Vehicles in Canada for Ukraine
Defence technology firms Dominion Dynamics and TENCORE have signed an agreement to manufacture uncrewed ground vehicles in Canada for Ukraine. Initial production is targeted for 2027.

Ottawa, ON – Canadian defence technology company Dominion Dynamics and Ukrainian firm TENCORE have entered into a memorandum of understanding to manufacture TENCORE's TerMIT uncrewed ground vehicles (UGVs) in Canada. The partnership will integrate Dominion's AuraNet autonomy stack into the vehicles, with production slated to begin in 2027.
The agreement, signed at the AUSA 2026 defence conference in Washington D.C., aims to support the deployment and development of AuraNet for Ukraine's front lines. The collaboration is also expected to create high-skilled jobs in Canada and bolster the nation's sovereign defence technology capabilities.
This initiative follows a joint declaration on defence cooperation signed by the Prime Ministers of Canada and Ukraine in September. The declaration committed both nations to manufacturing thousands of uncrewed systems over the next two years, with one-third designated for Ukraine's defence.
Dominion Dynamics plans to produce the TerMIT vehicles in Canadian facilities, with an initial target production year of 2027. TENCORE will lead the technology transfer and train Canadian technicians for the assembly process. TENCORE has reportedly delivered over 5,000 UGVs to Ukrainian military units since 2024.
The companies are continuing negotiations toward definitive agreements. Dominion Dynamics also intends to develop an Arctic-hardened variant of the TerMIT for Canadian operations and export to NATO allies.
