Domino's and NFPA Partner to Promote Fire Safety

Domino's Pizza and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) have joined forces to raise fire safety awareness among households nationwide. This marks the 19th year of their collaboration aimed at reminding the public about the importance of functioning smoke detectors.

During Fire Prevention Week, observed from October 4th to 10th, customers ordering from participating Domino's locations may receive their pizza for free if their home smoke detectors are in working order. If detectors are not functioning, local firefighters will assist with battery replacement or installation of working units.

The campaign will also distribute information on the safe charging of lithium-ion batteries. The NFPA emphasizes that working smoke detectors are crucial for home safety, providing essential time for occupants to escape in the event of a fire.

The NFPA, founded in 1896, is a global non-profit organization dedicated to reducing deaths, injuries, and property loss from fire and other hazards through codes, standards, research, and education.
