Domino's Launches S'mores Lava Cakes Dessert
Domino's Pizza has introduced a new dessert, S'mores Lava Cakes, replicating the flavors of campfire-inspired graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows. The item becomes available to all customers in the U.S. starting July 27.
Domino's Pizza (Nasdaq: DPZ) is expanding its dessert menu with the introduction of S'mores Lava Cakes, a new offering designed to evoke the taste of traditional campfire s'mores. The dessert is based on the company's existing Chocolate Lava Cakes.
The S'mores Lava Cakes feature three baked treats with a graham cracker-flavored crust, filled with chocolate chips and a molten marshmallow-flavored center. Domino's Rewards members will have early access to the dessert starting July 20, with the product available to all customers nationwide from July 27.
"Our customers already love our Chocolate Lava Cakes, so we wanted to take that experience a step further with a flavor that brings nostalgia and is irresistible," stated Kate Trumbull, Domino's Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. She noted the dessert offers the classic s'mores combination without the need for outdoor activities.
The dessert is sold in packs of three. Customers can also create a custom selection by combining the new s'mores flavor with the original Chocolate Lava Cakes. The price starts at $6.99 for a Mix and Match order. Domino's, the world's largest pizza company, continues to diversify its offerings to cater to consumer preferences.
