Doro, a technology company focused on seniors, has announced the launch of its Aurora smartphone series. The new range includes three models: the Doro Aurora A10, A20, and A30, now available for purchase. The company states the devices are engineered to address the evolving needs of seniors and users who require more from their technology, emphasizing simplified operation and dependable safety.

Citing research that indicates many seniors worry about making errors on their devices and struggle with app navigation, Doro has incorporated several user-friendly features. The Aurora phones include three physical buttons for easy calling and a dedicated home key to simplify navigation, particularly beneficial for those with visual impairments or dexterity issues. The interface also provides quick access to Google Gemini features.

Each device is equipped with the signature Doro Secure Button, designed to send an alert and connect users to their chosen support network with a single press in case of emergencies. Additionally, the smartphones support remote assistance through TeamViewer, allowing family members or caregivers to help with updates and settings, addressing a common challenge for supporting relatives.

The Aurora series offers variety in hardware. The Aurora A10 is a compact 4.5-inch smartphone, the Aurora A20 is a 4.5-inch model with a flip-down keypad, and the Aurora A30 features a larger 6.1-inch display. Camera specifications range from 13MP on the A10 and A20 to a 50MP camera on the A30. The phones are available online and through various retailers and network operators starting late May.
