Doro AB has released guidance aimed at helping users understand the risks associated with digital security when engaging with applications and social media platforms. The advice focuses on methods users can employ to safeguard themselves from fraud and data misuse.

To enhance security, Doro recommends using strong passwords and employing the phone's lock screen feature with a PIN, fingerprint, or facial recognition. Without such protections, a lost or stolen phone could compromise all associated accounts. In cases of account compromise, users are advised to immediately change passwords, log out from all other devices, report the incident to authorities and the service provider, and notify their contacts.
